The Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Bulls, or Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank, are a men’s professional basketball team based in Yiwu, Jinhua, Zhejiang. They play in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) and call Yiwu Gymnasium home court. American bad boy J.R. Smith played for the club during the 2011 NBA lockout, but was notoriously unhappy, and left in early 2012.
During the 2004–2006 seasons they struggled to make the playoffs. Then the team’s fortunes trended in a better direction since changing nicknames and becoming the Golden Bulls ahead of the 2009-10 CBA season.
They made the 2013 CBA Playoffs as eighth seed but lost to Guangdong Southern Tigers 0-3. They failed to reach the playoffs to current date.
